The Two Hottest Teeth Whitening Methods For A Sexier Spring 2010
Last Updated July 27, 2010
Hey everyone, my name is Jean Garrity, originally from the area, and I made this site to try to dispel some of the myths about teeth whitening. As I coast into my mid-50s (don’t want to get any more specific than that) I can’t help but wish I had known about all the science of white teeth when I was younger. In my long life I’ve been a smoker, a 3-times-a-day coffee drinker, and at times even a seldom brusher of my teeth.
It’s tough because I find that the more I search around the internet, the more random advice I get about how to get whiter teeth. ”Try product X, it works!” “Don’t even think about trying product X!” I come to wonder, have any of these people ACTUALLY tried the products? Well, before doing any research, the ONLY product I had tried was getting dental trays
from my dentist. These gave me a good TEMPORARY fix, but also broke the bank. It’s hard enough getting by with grandkids on the way. By the way, that’s me on the right during a recent trip to go horseback riding.
After literally years of research I have found 2 methods that work extremely well for super white teeth. One is quite cheap but not easy to stick with, while the second one is far easier.
Method 1:
1. Stop smoking. This was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I was successfully did it a few years ago (and I stayed off them! for a while…)
2. Ditch the coffee for tea. My second biggest addiction wasn’t as hard to break as I thought when I found that tea made me less jittery.
3. Brush twice a day. Many of you probably already do this, but it was something I had never done ritually.
4. Use whitestrips. Crest are my favorite but I have also tried the Rembrant ones with moderate success.
Method 2:
After 3 years without a cigarette, I started smoking again, so I knew I needed something better than whitestrips.
1. Use something called Dream Smile Pro, (this is their website) with a free trial. I originally used different free trials my husband had received, but prefer Dream Smile Pro. Check out their website here for more info. (ESSENTIAL)
2. Brush twice a day (ESSENTIAL)
3. Stay off that coffee, or reduce the number of cups you drink per day. This is the one habit I was able to break permanently. (OPTIONAL, BUT STILL IMPORTANT)
So there you have it. Hopefully I saved you some time with searching around the internet for how to get whiter teeth. Promise you’ll think of me when you gain all that confidence to be smiling all day!
